This series of illustrations was inspired by, The Powers of Ten a series of short documentary films by Charles and Ray Eames about the relative scale of the Universe based on factors of ten. Ecology is an understanding of the macro and micro. Both can be starting points for understanding. I tried to create this feeling of “zooming in” and “zooming out” in the artwork. In this respect, I try to help the viewer feel a sense of scale and time in imaging the future of the Baltimore Inner Harbor.
