Series of merch concepts that evolved from the Exhibition tumblers created for the National Aquarium in Downtown Baltimore. The full project description is below. Some of these ideas are mocks only but love the progression of art to tangible goods.
“The Future of Then and Now” is a series of illustrations that draws on The Powers of Ten by Charles and Ray Eames for inspiration. Like the films, that investigate the relative scale of the universe in factors of ten, ecology is an understanding of the macro and micro. Using both as starting points, Hill aimed to create a feeling of “zooming in” and “zooming out” in the artwork to give the viewer a sense of scale and time while imagining the future of the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Artwork By Brandon Hill.
The Artwork was installed as a series of three tumblers for guests to touch and interact with.
